A responsible future for AI?

On the occasion of the Lorentz Workshop “The Future of AI: Ethical, Legal and Societal Issues”, that takes place from 28 January to 1 February, the workshop organisers together with ALLAI, are organising a public closing event of the workshop on February 1 from 15.00 – 16.30. Speakers will be:

  • Bennie Mols, Freelance science journalist, specialised in artificial intelligence and robotics
  • Catelijne Muller, President ALLAI & Member of the EU High Level Expert Group on AI
  • Alexander Rinnooy Kan, member of the Senate, UvA
  • Peter-Paul Verbeek, Philosophy Lab, University of Twente
  • Aimee van Wynsberghe, TU Delft and Foundation for Responsible Robotics, co-founder ALLAI
  • Virginia Dignum, Umeå University, co-founder ALLAI (moderator)

After the event, there is opportunity to further discuss with organisers, panellists and other participants.
